Every Thursday during term time the Pram Group continues to meet in the Church Hall. As the Hall was in use as a Polling Station on Thursday 7th May 2015 “Pram Group does Messy Church” was held instead. There were crafts to celebrate the Christian faith, including Easter Gardens made out of biscuits, sheep (because Jesus said “I am the Good Shepherd”) and gates from lollipop sticks (because Jesus also said “I am the gate for the sheep”). Messy Church is a creative way for all the family to worship together.
On Sunday 1st February 2015 in the Church Hall, the first St Mary's Messy Church service took place. Messy Church is a way for families to worship God together in creative ways. Our first service had the theme of God's love, and activities included marbled and cress hearts, and heart shaped glasses to help think about seeing the world through the love of God.
